tuber sale faq
will you combine orders?
Combined shipping is now automatic. As long as you use the same email address when you place multiple orders this season, we’ll automatically combine them — no extra steps, no guesswork. It will show up as a discount on your order.
what is your tuber guarantee?
Thank you so much for supporting our little farm — it truly means a lot.
We guarantee that every tuber will arrive with at least one eye and be true to the variety you ordered. Please inspect your tubers within 5 business days of arrival and reach out via the site’s contact form or britney@avalonlush.com if you have any concerns.
We use careful sanitation and pest-management practices to provide the healthiest stock possible. That said, plants are living things, and once tubers leave our care, there are factors beyond our control, so we can’t guarantee virus exposure is completely avoidable.
Honest, careful growing — and doing right by you — is always our goal.
when will you ship?
Shipping will begin the second week of April, or when temperatures in both my area (Oregon) and your area ensure the tubers will not freeze enroute.
are your return policies flexible? how about shipping?
All orders are shipped using USPS priority mail. Shipping is only available in the US and we wait for freeze-free temperatures to ship. Local pickup is available.
Your order is confirmed once you see the confirmation notice on the screen and receive the confirmation email. Once you place an order, it is final and we do not accept cancellations. Should we find a stock storage failure, we’ll contact you immediately with the option to refund or replace with a similar option. We kindly ask that you respond within two business days with your answer. We only ship out quality stock.

why buy from us
If the simple joy of having flowers in your space isn’t reason enough (which, honestly, is already a strong argument), here’s something else to know: only about 25% of the flowers sold in the U.S. are actually grown here.
Ours are.
We grow our flowers in Hillsboro, Washington County, Oregon—in real soil, in real community, using regenerative farming practices and Pacific Northwest–grown seed. When you choose them, you’re not just bringing something beautiful into your home. You’re supporting local farmers, local businesses, and a way of growing that’s rooted in care, not shortcuts.
It’s a small choice that adds up. And it feels good for a reason.

About the Farmer
I can’t believe I once told my husband never to buy me flowers (on Valentine’s Day) because they were a waste of money.
To be fair—NYC prices of foreign blooms on an overpriced holiday are kinda ridiculous but… I was young. I didn’t understand the simple joy a perfect bloom can bring.
It’s easy to gloss over, but if you pay attention, there’s a whole world of calm joy and simple pleasures, a contentment you can only enjoy when you take time to notice.
So here we are: Avalon Lush, my gift to the world and my family. It is a commitment to enjoying God’s beauty, a way to enjoy more and live in the lushness of our world, and a path to experiment and get dirty along the way.
